A 14 year old boy was injured whilst playing rugby at the Leicester Lions RC in Blaby. The Air Ambulance was called when the boy experienced some neck pain following a series of rugby tackles. The patient was able to be treated and discharged at the scene with the help of a paramedic from East Midlands Ambulance Services and he did not need to be conveyed to hospital by air.
