Corporate sponsorship is vital if DLRAA is to meet its £1.5 million annual running costs, but there are many other ways that companies can become involved with DLRAA.

There are a great many ways that companies can become involved with DLRAA, from sponsoring this website to repainting the entire helicopter in your organisation’s corporate colours and logo.

Butterley Engineering Company, Ripley

DLRAA would like to thank the staff of the Butterly Engineering Company in Ripley for raising £823.78 by holding various events. We are delighted to be supported year in, year out by local businesses and we value each and every contribution.


Kilworth House Hotel

Kilworth House Hote set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside close to the Warwickshire border adopted WNAA and DLRAA for 2008 and launched the ‘Heart of England Air Ambulance Appeal’

 

Throughout 2008 a series of events were organised to raise funds. The Kilworth Luncheon Club ladies were entertained by a number of well know famous faces, including Penny Smith, Carol Thatcher, Gyles Brandreth, Erin Boag & Christine Hamilton.

Two sponsored walks of 5km or 10km in Kilworth’s extensive grounds, a Golf day at Kilworth Springs and three Christmas Gala evenings rounded off a fantastic year of enthusiastic fundraising generously supported. Jo ,Fundraising Manager for Warwickshire, accepted a cheque for the fantastic amount of £70,131.30 and we would like to thank Mr Richard and Mrs Celia Mackay and all the Staff at the Hotel.
